Travis Scott and Ye will headline the same music festival in Italy this summer.
On Wednesday, February 18, the Hellwatt Festival announced Scott as the final headliner to join the eclectic lineup. Scott and Ye will take over the main stage at the RCF Arena during the festival's closing weekend on July 17 and 18. Ye was previously confirmed to perform at the massive music festival, which will last for three consecutive weekends in July. Other artists like Offset, Ice Spice, Ty Dolla $ign, Wiz Khalifa, Nicky Jam, Ozuna and more have also been confirmed as performers.
The announcement arrived amid rumors that Travis Scott and Ye are working on a joint album. Havoc of Mobb Deep first revealed the plan while reflecting on his contributions to The Life of Pablo during an interview with Complex. He recalled how Ye made him cook up multiple beats to use for his seventh studio album and future projects. Havoc also said that a few of the tracks he made may end up on a project Ye is working on with La Flame.
"Recently, I did a track—I don't want to blow up the spot and say it just in case if it don't ever come out," he explained. "But I will say, he's working on a project, I believe, with Travis Scott, and a few of my tracks have made the cut so far."
Travis and Ye have collaborated on numerous tracks in the past but they've yet to release an entire album together. As of this report, neither Ye nor Travis Scott has commented on the news. However, now that they'll be headlining the same festival together, fans are excited to see if they'll debut new music during their sets.
