Travis Scott has responded to Pusha T amid their growing beef.
On Sunday, July 13, the Houston rapper and his record label, Cactus Jack, dropped their compilation album JACKBOYS 2. The album holds 17 new tracks from Scott, Sheck Wes, Don Toliver, SoFaygo, and Wallie The Sensei. It also includes collaborations with Future, Kodak Black, Tyla, GloRilla, YoungBoy Never Broke Again, Playboi Carti, SahBabii, and Vybz Kartel. The album begins with Scott and Toliver's "Champain & Vacay" featuring Waka Flocka Flame. Toward the end of his verse, the Cactus Jack founder appears to react to Pusha T's diss from the new Clipse album.
"Walked in LV, ten chains, feelin' like a n***a just walked in ten deep/Yeah, man, I swear these old n***as kill me," Scott raps. Know my YNs feel me/They just want the real me, yeah/Blue Bugatti, I'm dodgin' TMZ/Made a hundred off pushin' T's/Now my phone on DND."
Scott appears to tackle Pusha T's vicious bars from Clipse's recent single "So Be It." On the Pharrell-produced track, Push closes out the track by referencing Scott's UTOPIA album and alluding to his former girlfriend, Kylie Jenner. In an interview, Push said he created the diss after Scott interrupted a studio session with him, Malice and Pharrell before he released UTOPIA. Not only did he insist on previewing his album during their session, but Scott also played "Meltdown" for them without Drake's verse.
"Her Utopia had moved right up the street/And her lip gloss was poppin', she ain't need you to eat," Push raps. "The 'net gon' call it the way that they see it/But I got the video, I can share and A.E. it/They wouldn't believe it, but I can't unsee it/Lucky I ain't TMZ it, so be it, so be it."
