The rap world has been in disarray ever since J. Cole waived the white flag and apologized to Kendrick Lamar following his response on "7 Minute Drill."

In the hours after Cole made his apology at Dreamville Fest, numerous artists and critics have taken to social media to share their thoughts. One person in particular who immediately tore Cole to shreds over his decision to apologize was Akademiks. The streamer not only shunned the Dreamville founder from the "Big 3" but he also said he spoke to Drake about the situation. Ak said Drizzy laughed when he warned him not to apologize to Kdot.

"I can’t f**king believe you would say some s**t like that to me," Drake reportedly responded. "You must not know me."

Drake has yet to formally respond to Kendrick Lamar following his verse on Future and Metro Boomin's "Like That." Since Kdot dissed both him and J. Cole, Drake was focused on wrapping up his "It's All A Blur - Big As The What?" Tour with Cole, Lil Durk and Lil Wayne, who joined the tour during its final stretch. Drizzy offered a cryptic response during his tour stops but declined to name names. Fans anticipate that Drake will keep the lyrical melee going with his own a fiery retort in the form of a diss track. Nothing has been confirmed yet, but there are clues that indicate a diss track is in the works.

In addition to Drake, others have expressed their thoughts about the situation like 50 Cent, Mick Jenkins and more. Fif, who also performed at Dreamville Fest over the weekend, was stunned by Cole's move. Meanwhile, Charlamagne The God shared his inner rap fan understands the "disappointment" behind Cole's apology but his spiritual side also respects Cole for what he did.
