Beyoncé is the queen of Halloween!
On Friday (September 20), Queen Bey gave fans a look at one of her Halloween costumes from last year by sharing never-before-seen photos of herself dressed up as the one-and-only Lisa Bonet. In the shot, the 38-year-old entertainer dressed as the Cosby Show actress while holding her two-year-old twins Rumi Carter and Sir Carter.
Bey donned a grey slip dress, top hat a maroon shawl and Lisa's signature small sunglasses for the costume to resemble a grunge look the '90s actress previously wore. She even added fringe bangs to solidify the look.
The "Mood 4 Eva" singer posted the photo on her website alongside a number of vacation shots in honor of her recent 38th birthday. Before sharing the collection of photos, Bey wrote, “Thank you from the depths of me for all my birthday loving. I had an incredible B-day! I’m grateful for every breath. I thank God for all of my blessings, my wins, and my losses.”
The "BIGGER" singer has become known for embodying iconic stars for Halloween. Last October, she dressed as Toni Braxton for Halloween costume. "Sending love and adoration to one of our talented legends," Beyoncé captioned her "Phoni Braxton" single cover, which is basically an exact replica of Toni's cover art from her first official single "Another Sad Love Song." "Thank you for the countless bops. Your tone, your beauty, your range, and your God-given talent is treasured. Loving you always. Have a Happy Halloween my Kings and Queens."
Beyoncé's emulating of music legends for Halloween has been her thing for years. In 2017, she went all out as Lil' Kim, dressing up in five of her most iconic career looks. In 2016, Bey paid homage to Salt-N-Pepa, even enlisting her mom Tina Knowles and daughter Blue to complete the group costume. And in 2014, the "Everything Is Love" singer dressed as the one and only Janet Jackson.
